Set up the Bitpanda app — step by step

Open the App Store or Google Play
Search for Bitpanda and verify the publisher is Bitpanda GmbH before installing. - 2
Install and open the app
Tap Get or Install, then open the app once it finishes downloading. - 3
Sign in with your email and password
Use the same credentials as the web Bitpanda login. - 4
Enable biometric sign-in
After your first password login, enable Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint in Settings. - 5
Turn on push notifications
Allow notifications to get price alerts, security alerts and account updates.

Your email and password are identical on web and mobile. After the first sign-in, enable biometrics so you rarely need to type your password again.

Biometric sign-in
Face ID, Touch ID and fingerprint login store a secure token on your device — not your actual password. You still need your password if biometrics fail or after a device change. See Security for best practices.
Notifications and alerts
Enable push notifications for price movements, security events and account updates. Configure alert thresholds in the app Settings to avoid notification fatigue.
